Collecting:

My collection is comprised of handmade traditional prints.  I practice two Historic Processes: Platinum/Palladium Printing and Photogravure Printmaking.  The handmade printing process bestows each print with its own unique impression of the image.  Therefore each print is different and a unique piece of my handmade art. 

I encourage collectors to either schedule an appointment to meet with me in my studio and review what is available, or contact me directly at rantonek (at) mac (dot) com.  I process print requests in the order that I receive them.  Most orders are completed within 2-3 weeks.

Matting:

Prints are sold and priced without overmats, and will be overmatted upon request. Matting up to and including 16”x 20” are $50. Overmats larger than 16”x 20” are $75. All overmats are professionally cut using 100% pure rag, acid-free Museum board. Framing is also available upon request.

Shipping:

All shipments are fully insured by the shipper against damage or loss. If works are not received in good condition, please notify the Seller at once. The prints are carefully packed and shipped via U.S. registered mail, or UPS Second Day, insured, with a return receipt requested. There will be a $35 shipping and handling fee for prints 16”x 20” and smaller. The shipping and handling fee for prints larger than 16”x 20” will be billed to the purchaser. All works are copyrighted by the Artist and may not be reproduced in any manner without the permission of the Artist.

Conserving:

Purchasing a Fine Art Photographic Print ensures that you have a very limited, unique work of photographic art that should be handled carefully at all times. It is a good idea to wash your hands before handling a photograph, and always use two hands when picking one up, or even better use cotton gloves. Never touch a photograph's surface with your fingers or rub it with any rough materials. Food and drinks should always be kept away from photographs, and they should never be hung in direct sunlight. When mounting, matting, and framing your Fine Art Photography use only acid free archival materials, and place behind UV protected glass or plexiglass.
